This ten-part on-demand webinar series will guide CAHs through the CMS Conditions of Participation (CoP) found in Appendix W, with special focus on commonly cited areas like Patient Rights. Although the CAH manual lacks a dedicated Patient Rights section, hospitals are still required to ensure a safe environment and uphold all patient rights. The series will address recent regulatory changes, including infection control, QAPI, and discharge planning, as well as areas with missing interpretive guidelines. It also covers key compliance topics such as nursing care plans, medication management, informed consent, and required policies and procedures.
